Trade port means the area where the port facilities designated by the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries are located. An oceangoing vessel is a vessel that operates or operates between a domestic port and a foreign port. The purpose of this study is to analyze the coexistence and direction of each port while identifying the trends and fluctuations in export amount by major domestic ports. The data used in the study were searched and organized in “Export/Import Performance by Port/Airport” of Import and Export Trade Statistics in Korea Customs Service. The analysis period is a total 204 monthly data from January 2006 to December 2022. We have extracted and summarized the monthly fluctuation rate for the same month compared to the previous year for each major port. In the correlation analysis, Korea showed the highest in the order of Gwangyang, Busan, Ulsan, Incheon, Yeosu, and Pyeongtaek. In the regression analysis with Korea as the dependent variable, Busan, Gwangyang, Incheon, Ulsan, Yeosu, and Pyeongtaek were all calculated as positive(+). In the Scatter Charts analysis, all ports showed a high level of the same direction towards Korea. Due to the recent rise in international raw material prices, The balance of trade is in deficits in some ports. However, for the continued development of the Korean economy in the future, each port expects a steady increase in the number of exports and the amount of exports.
