This research aims to examine the safety of sports as the Fourth Industrial Revolution progresses. This study used integrated literature research methods and the problems with the safety of sports following the Fourth Industrial Revolution were as follows: First, as the fourth industrial revolution progressed, it presented ways and examples of applying to sports in three categories: the process of the industrial revolution, virtual reality, Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence. Second, by understanding the current status of sports safety in Korea, statistics and surveys of various institutions such as the Sports Statistical Yearbook, awareness of sports safety in Korea, education, etc., and issues related to terrorism beyond living sports and professional sports. Third, due to the development of technology in sports safety following the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the application of technology to sports participants, safety accidents such as injury prevention and education were proposed. Although awareness of safety is increasing every year among sports activities, there are still many areas that are lacking. Compared to the development of technology, there is a lack of awareness and awareness of safety during sports activities. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to safety, not only to individuals, but also to national safety issues, because institutions and organizations are encouraged to build safety-related systems and introduce technological developments.
