Based on varying coefficient regression, a novel method is proposed to determine the harmonic responsibility for power distribution network including photovoltaic system. The harmonic current characteristics of photovoltaic system is analyzed firstly. The varying coefficient regression is adopted to evaluate the utility harmonic impedance due to its' adaptability to harmonic characteristics of photovoltaic system. Then, the detailed harmonic responsibility is calculated according to harmonic responsibility formula according to the superposition law. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the simulation is carried on with IEEE 13-bus system.
