In this work we re-derive the filtered backprojection reconstruction algorithm along π -lines in the helical CT. The derivation reused the Katsevch-type of proof which was originally proposed in the development of the backprojection filtration reconstruction algorithm along π-lines in the helical CT reconstruction problem. The results are not new; however, the derivation is somewhat interesting.
