A broadband and stable high gain metasurface antenna is proposed in this paper. The presented antenna consists of a non-uniform metasurface fed by a pair of slots. With the modification of the geometry of patches to reduce the out-of-phase currents, the impedance bandwidth and the gain are enhanced. As shown in the simulated results, the peak gain of the presented antenna is about 11 dBi. Furthermore, it exhibits a −10 dB impedance bandwidth of 60% and has a stable high gain with a 1 dB gain bandwidth of 30%.
