Active power filter (APF) is a new power electronic device used for compensation reactive power and dynamic harmonic suppression. The harmonic detection method based on instantaneous reactive power is mature and widely used in engineering practice. In this paper, aiming at the low precision of its low pass filter, a new detection method is proposed based on adaptive analysis theory. The simulation results show that it is more efficient than traditional detection methods.
