AHB DMA Controller is used to transfer the data from AHB (Advance High Performance Bus) to Peripheral side and vice versa. This paper introduced the low power concept for reducing the power consumption during data transmission. In this paper, AHB DMA Controller working is scheduled by FSM (Finite State Machine) decomposition technique for reducing power. As per this technique, complete FSM of architecture of AHB DMA Controller is divided into two or more parts. After completion of this process, FSM Decomposition technique saves average 31.15 % Power during data transmission.
