We presents a near field (NF) sampling compression method based on matrix CUR decomposition. By applying CUR decomposition directly to NF data, one only needs to perform NF sampling at a small number of randomly selected sampling points and then can recover the field values of the rest of sampling points, which significantly reduces the expenditure of NF sampling. Simulations using synthetic and measurement data are presented to show the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed sampling method.
