To solve the problem of accurate measurement of the position and attitude of hoisted objects, the UWB and binocular stereo vision were studied. Taking the floor-standing double jib crane for overhead transmission line tower construction as an example, the installation and layout of UWB technology were explored to measure the position of hoisted objects roughly during the hoisting stage. Simultaneously, a binocular vision measurement module was designed, and its principle, process, and accuracy were investigated to accurately measure the position and attitude of hoisted objects during the attitude adjustment stage. A measurement method based on UWB and binocular vision technology was proposed, which achieved accurate measurement of the spatial position and attitude of hoisted objects.
