The weather changes have a large impact on users of hybrid-micro-grid-system (HMGS). In this paper, a photovoltaic-wind hybrid energy system with considering bad weather conditions is presented to meet the energy demand of herdsman’s home in Qinghai Province and mitigate the impact of weather changes on user experience. The simulation results using Matlab/SIMULINK indicate that the system can generate about 14.997 - 1S.559 kWh electricity in one day. The system provides users with the advised-operating-time (ADOT) of the appliances to lessen the impact of weather changes. The experimental results show that the system can provide users with a lot of instructive information to improve user experience.
