A location method based on gated regression unit (GRU) regression model is proposed for optical fiber perimeter sensing systems. The positions of three types of disturbance sensing signals are predicted. The simulation results show that this method has the advantages of simple data processing, high location accuracy and less influence on the location performance by the disturbance type.
