Virtual synchronous generator (VSG) technology has improved the intermittence and oscillation of wind power to a certain extent. But the traditional VSG control strategy has some problems, such as long transient adjustment time and poor oscillation. Therefore, a damping inertial adaptive control strategy based on improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed in this paper. The improved PSO algorithm is used to select the initial value of the control strategy, and the selection principle and specific value range of the key parameters are given. Finally, the proposed control strategy is verified by the electromagnetic transient simulation platform, and the results show that the proposed control strategy can support the system and suppress the oscillation problem.
