With the large number of wind power connected to the grid and the increase of power electronic permeability, the frequency modulation capacity of the power grid is reduced. Energy storage combined with wind power can improve the stability of the system, but most studies do not consider the state of energy storage charge (state of charge, SOC). Considering the typical operation scene of wind power generation and the characteristics of energy storage battery, this paper proposes a wind storage cooperative control strategy considering energy storage battery SOC, considering the residual capacity of energy storage battery SOC and energy storage converter to determine the power of energy storage battery, so as to mobilize the energy storage battery with wind power output to ensure the safe and stable operation of the system. Finally, the wind-storage joint system model is built by Matlab/Simulink simulation platform to verify the proposed cooperative control strategy. The results show that, compared with the existing control strategies, the collaborative strategy proposed in this paper considers the characteristics of wind power output and energy storage battery.
