A 4-LP-mode FM-EDFA utilizing multiple-ring-core FM-EDF is designed and fabricated to support weakly-coupled MDM transmission, based on which 60+60 km simultaneous LP 01 /LP 11 /LP 21 /LP 02 MDM-WDM transmission is experimentally demonstrated only adopting 2×2 or 4×4 MIMO-DSP.
