We demonstrate the fabrication of a novel helical-structure sampled fiber Bragg grating (HSFBG) by using femtosecond laser. The fabricated HSFBGs show comb-like spectra over 200 nm wavelength range. It is much wider than traditional sampled fiber Bragg gratings.
