According to the acquisition and analysis of the wave recording data of the distribution network, the characteristic value of the wave recording is extracted to form the characteristic database of the distribution network feeder waveform, and the fault type of the distribution network is identified. The coefficient and the maximum value of the three-phase short-circuit current are calculated to obtain the quick-break protection setting value. The over-current protection setting value is obtained by the calculation of the adjacent coefficient and the over-current start but not the maximum value of the fault recording file. This setting method is not affected by the new energy station. The impact of grid structure changes caused by access, saves time and effort, is easy to implement, and realizes automatic tuning of distribution network settings.
