In order to capture the maximum output power of PV system, an optimization strategy for the PV array reconfiguration based on DLCI. As a novel algorithm, DLCI can effectively improve the local exploration and global exploitation of the algorithm by integrating the different meta-heuristic algorithm search mechanisms. Through the discrete design of DLCI, the continuously optimized DLCI can be applied to PV array reconfiguration. To verify the effectiveness of DLCI on PV system optimization, five case studies are undertaken comprehensively. The simulation shows that DLCI has a significant effect on the reduction in the number of power peaks caused by PSC. The output power of the PV arrays obtained based on DLCI is significantly improved, which is 16.86% higher than that of the without optimization.
