This research presents a new type of DC-to-AC converter with a higher output voltage. Due to its specific construction, this inverter can only be powered by a single DC source. Power storage methods, such as connecting charged capacitors and a DC source in series, can also be used to boost the voltage at the output. The proposed Switched Capacitor inverter architecture may amplify a single dc input source by two times, allowing for the generation of a multistep waveform. The voltage upon the capacitors is automatically self-balanced, and it features a modular design. The proposed inverter's 5-level architecture is tested in a simulated environment to ensure proper operation. Further, the recently proposed 5-level MLI topologies and the proposed MLI topology have been compared in this work.
