The development of distributed energy resources-related technologies is of great significance in promoting the clean and low-carbon transformation of the power system. However, the massive increase of prosumers adds to the complexity of modern distribution networks. The introduction and application of transactive energy mechanisms provide an effective way to solve demand-side flexible resource management and multi-agent coordinated optimization operation. A comprehensive grasp and analysis of existing energy trading mechanisms will help to study more efficient and practical new mechanisms. This paper summarizes the current status of the transactive energy scheme and gives suggestions for future research.
