We present a solution for efficient off-chip coupling with no requirement of on-chip mode engineering and additional manufacturing processes. A 10.4µm to 4µm fiber-to-chip mode-field-dimension conversion is demonstrated with ~2dB loss across >100nm wavelength range. Author(s)
