a flexible dual-polarized patch antenna with an extremely low-profile design, operating at 28GHz is presented for millimeter wave mobile communication. This patch antenna design is using a capacitive feed and parasitic element to improve the bandwidth and gain, and it is only 202 um thick. The single element patch antenna covers 26.6-28.5 GHz and exhibits almost the same boresight radiation pattern over the entire bandwidth with an average gain of 6.5 dBi and 12.3 dBi for the array antenna. The array element shows a -10 dB reflection coefficient with a wide bandwidth that covers a 2.4 GHz bandwidth from 26.6 GHz to 29 GHz. The results prove that proposed antennas have high potential in the fifth generation (5G).
