General requirements of a GNSS receiver for space applications are introduced and TUBITAK UZAY's solution for such applications is provided. The receiver is designed to be autonomous and able to support real time orbit determination and time synchronization as well as post-processing applications on ground. The features of the receiver are provided in terms of functional, physical and software architectures. The qualification test results and performance assessment of the receiver indicate that the GNSS receiver offers a competitive and compact solution for LEO applications.
