This paper describes an extended permittivity extraction technique based on the Multi-line method. The proposed method consists of (1) two CPW lines with different lengths and (2) material under test (MUT). It can be applicable to rapid and wideband characterization of dielectric constants without additional fabrication or extensive measurement setups. The investigated results of three known materials (Teflon, Taconic RF-35, Glass) confirms the validity of the proposed permittivity extraction method. These results exhibit a broadband operation capability from 0.3 GHz to 35.0 GHz with the averaged accuracy of 95.0%.
