In this paper, an optically transparent antenna to operate in long term evolution (LTE) band 700 MHz and 800 MHz is presented. The antenna has a −6dB impedance bandwidth extending from 730–900 MHz It has been designed on a flexible ultra-thin Acrylic sheet which may find a number of applications in the internet of things (IoT) and smart buildings. The antenna has also been fabricated and the measured results would be shown during the conference.
