In this paper, we presented a hardware acceleration technique that utilizes advanced vector extensions (AVX) instruction set to enhance the solution process of the discontinuous Galerkin time domain (DGTD) method. Several examples were used to assess the performance improvement achieved by AVX-accelerated DGTD method. The results demonstrate significant enhancements in the performance of the DGTD method through the utilization of AVX instruction set.
