In this paper, a novel parallel-plate waveguide (PPW) continuous transverse stub (CTS) antenna array with high gain and low-sidelobe performances is presented for K/Ka dual-band applications. The array comprises 32 radiation slots and is fed by a 32-way unequal-feed network with a cosine magnitude distribution. Experimental results show that antenna gains of more than 36.3 dBi and 40.4 dBi are achieved in K-band and Ka-band, respectively. The sidelobe levels (SLLs) are below −20 dB in both E-plane and H-plane at these two frequency bands.
