Light detection and ranging (LiDAR) is one of the key devices for 3D environment sensing. Mechanical rotary LiDAR is often used in automatic driving. This is due to its multiple rangefinder sources rotating around their own axes, scanning with fixed resolution and having a small vertical field of view (FOV). The Solid-state LiDAR has no rotating parts and has high stability. It can measure a surface many times in a very short time. However, Solid-state LiDAR has a small horizontal and vertical FOV, which limits its application scenarios. In this paper, Flash LiDAR is combined with a turntable to obtain a larger FOV and variable resolution. Finally, we compare with other similar systems and test it in a real scene.
