The image stitching technology breaks through the limitation of camera angle of view, so that high resolution and large field of view can be guaranteed at the same time. In recent years, the image stitching technology has been widely used in aerial photography, medical treatment, cultural relics protection, VR, industrial and agricultural fields. This article mainly studies the image registration problem, based on the OpenCV library function, separately analyzes and uses several existing feature point extraction algorithms, and on this basis, explores the extraction based on oFAST + BRISK, and uses KNN algorithm and RANSAC algorithm to match and filter the key points. Finally the two images are spliced by image projection. Experiments show that this method has better rotation invariance and scale invariance, and has better adaptability in various environments.
