In this paper, an OTA controlled voltage boost without clock is proposed to enhance the frequency response for the photodiodes. The voltage boost produces a voltage of 8V with 8mV low output voltage ripple in 10uA load condition for a single 5V supply. A simple logic control is proposed to replace clock control. The proposed voltage boost circuit is designed in standard 0.18μm BCD technology.
