With the strengthening of the integrated features of the power grid operation, the global monitoring and analysis decision-making requirements around the main power grid and the external environment of Zones I and III are gradually increasing. Considering the visualization requirements and deployment scenarios of the power grid GIS, and the consistency of display on the human-machine display platform of the power grid dispatching and control system spanning Zones I and III, an integrated design based on the principles of integration and modularization was developed. This design relies on the lightweight human-machine interaction frameworks and new generation of service buses. It implements a unified solution for Desktop GIS and Web GIS. The implementation includes interoperate between CIM/G files and GIS interface programs, configuration-based loading of grid maps, and automatic avoidance of feature annotations. Through program reuse between Zones I and III, the GIS-related monitoring scenarios of the power grid applications are supported.
