The conformal phased array, as opposed to the conventional planar phased array, can be affixed to the surface of a carrier. Liquid crystal molecules, when subjected to an external electromagnetic field, display anisotropy based on their polarity, making them suitable for controlling the phase of a phased array antenna. In this study, we introduces a cylindrical conformal phased array antenna utilizing liquid crystal and E-shaped patch technology. The unit operates within the frequency range of 14.35GHz to 15.11GHz, achieving a relative bandwidth of 5%. The $4\times 4$ cylindrical conformal phased array, based on this unit, offers a scanning range of $\pm 40^{\circ}$.
