This article is devoted to fixed-time synchronization (FXTS) for a type of impulsive multi-layer networks (IMNs) having time-varying parameters uncertainty. Firstly, impulsive effects and parameter uncertainty are introduced into the modelling of multi-layer complex networks. Besides, by developing a time-varying Lyapunov function, a concise criterion composed of matrix inequalities is established to ensure the FXTS of the considered IMNs by exploiting Schur complement theory, which makes it less conservative than existing relevant results. A numerical simulation is utilized at last to certify the theoretical analysis.
