This paper builds a maintenance time distribution model through analyzing 110 equipment maintenance time field data. It is found that maintenance time is in conformity to the logarithmic normal distribution. Therefore its maintainability characteristic functions are obtained (mainly including: m(t), M(t), μ(t)). Evaluation is performed on its maintainability level, and then references could be provided for design and maintenance decision-making departments.
