to address the shortcomings of traditional vector control system speed loop controller of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with weak robustness and flutter. This paper presents a sliding mode speed control algorithm which is based on a newly reaching method. Compared to conventional exponential approach law, weighted point gain is newly introduced. In addition, changes the sign function to the saturated function, solves the chattering problem of sliding mode control. Designed PMSM vector control system employs new reaching law-based speed controller. Moreover. Analyzed the performance to verify the newly one can effectively solves the chattering problem. The results show that it is effective and feasible and certain advantages.
