Road deflection is an indicator of the overall strength of the road and the falling weight deflectometer is the main instrument for measuring this parameter in China. This paper introduces the composition of the calibration devices, analyzes the concept of designing the device, describes the calibration parameters as well as carries out the test verification and uncertainty evaluation. The test results indicates that the device improves the accuracy of the falling weight deflectometer effectively.
