This study integrates Bluetooth BLE, GPS, and 4G communication technologies to create a digital agricultural system based on the RT-Thread and Cloud platforms. The system compromises three major components, namely the gateway, the ear tag, and the cloud platform. The ear tag detects the target's movement steps, real-time body temperature, and battery level and transmits the data to the gateway via Bluetooth. The gateway receives Bluetooth data from numerous ear tags through the Bluetooth chip and then communicates with the Cloud platform for networking purposes. The system achieves digital farming with minimal power consumption, accomplishing all of the activities of a digital farm and meeting product-level requirements.
