Signal generator is widely used in the field of electronics. In this paper, an embedded chip STM32F103C8T6 and direct synthesis of frequency chip AD9833 are used to design a signal generator that output is sinusoidal wave, triangular wave and square wave. Key and decoder are used to switch waveform and adjust frequency in the range of 1–5 MHz. Finally, error analysis of the output waveform frequency is performed.
