This paper investigates a low-profile compact reconfigurable antenna that radiates a circularly polarized wave. The antenna consists of multiple curved metalines. The centerline of the curved metalines is defined by the Archimedean function. The beam direction is steered in a specific azimuth direction by a switching circuit attached to the feed point. The antenna characteristics, including the radiation pattern, VSWR, and gain are discussed.
