The anode saturable reactor (ASR) serves as a protective apparatus within high-voltage direct current transmission rectifiers. Its iron core oscillation stands out as a significant contributor to reactor vibration. Employing a foundation in multi-physics field coupling theory and methodologies, this paper constructs a three-dimensional model of the ASR via finite element simulation software. The model encompasses considerations of electromagnetic forces and Magnetostrictive effects. Numerical calculations are conducted to capture the magnetization process of the iron core and ascertain vibration parameters. Through this research, the anticipation of the vibration status of the ASR’s iron core is facilitated, consequently providing a preliminary platform for the enhancement of its vibration performance through optimization and design refinement.
