The previous approaches to on-ground flight instruction had many drawbacks and challenges, including limited practice opportunities, inefficient training and high training costs. Therefore, this paper aims to improve the effect of ground preparation before flight, builds a ground teaching visualization platform based on virtual reality panorama, and studies the teaching application of the visualization platform based on VR panorama in the ground preparation stage of flight training. By building a rich, comprehensive and visualized scene system platform and the setting of modules, a better human-computer interaction effect is achieved. In the specific application case, the ground teaching and simulation training based on VR panoramic map technology is realized, enabling the students to complete most of the flight ground training exercises on the ground, such as the check-around and cockpit check, etc. Such a teaching mode innovation can greatly reduce the teaching time for procedural skills in the actual flight training, thus increasing the teaching time for maneuvering skills and situational awareness skills, improving the teaching efficiency and the ability level of the students, and providing an innovative teaching method for the subsequent flight training courses.
