With the rapid development of China’s power grid, the level of short-circuit current of power system is increasing gradually. By dynamically adjust system topology during the fault can limit short circuit current and avoid the impact on the normal operation of the system. In this paper, the influence of system topology adjustment on the transient characteristics of short circuit current during the fault is studied. The transient recover voltage and overvoltage is analyzed.
