The transmission characteristics of half-wavelength AC transmission line is different from that of conventional line. Before engineering application, it is necessary to carry out the test to verify the characteristics of half-wavelength transmission with existing real line. The engineering test scheme for half-wavelength transmission is studied in this paper. The construction scheme for engineering test system of half-wavelength transmission is studied and proposed. The steady-state characteristics of the half-wavelength true type test line were studied. The influence of factors such as unevenness of true line parameters and substation equipment was considered. Over-voltage characteristics of true line test system and limitation measures are proposed.
