Developing the robots that are capable of performing intricate tasks has been a primary objective. In pursuit of this goal, flexible tactile sensors with multi-dimensional force sensing capabilities have shown promise for intelligent robotics. Herein, we present a triboelectric-based spider web-like sensor (TSS) for robotics multi-dimensional sensing. The experimental results reveal that its single unit can perceive the stretching ratio ranging from 1% to 60% with a fast response time of 12.5 ms. And the sensing unit is also capable of detecting the contact forces. Additionally, the device not only allows for the simultaneous perception of strain direction and intensity but also facilitates the localization of contact objectives through arranging 6 sensing units in the spider-web like structure. Considering its merits of low cost, high flexibility and the nature of self-powered, it is believed that the newly designed TSS has provided a prospect method for the robotics perceiving technology.
