One cycle controlled Cuk converters are prone to exhibit slow-scale oscillations caused by Neimark-Sack bifurcation in the input stage of the converter. In this paper, sampled-data model is applied to analyze the dynamics of Cuk converters. And a novel control method is presented for eliminating the bifurcation from the perspective of improving the control principle. Via simulation results, the ability of the improved controller is verified to eliminate the oscillation and wide the stability domain.
