This article introduces the design of an educational game ARTé: Mecenas through the pedagogical perspective. ARTé: Mecenas is a role-playing strategy game to learn art history. This article provides instructional/game designers with an example of integrating learning content within the game through the adoption of Bloom’s Taxonomy and the Balanced Design framework.
