We propose dielectric-ferrite strip line which consists of a periodic permittivity of dielectrics and permeability of ferrite concerning with left-handed signal response. Transmission line model was used to analyze dispersion and scattering parameters of the line. It was found that to get wide left hand response relation between dielectric constant of the line and loaded inductance values should be optimum. These results were extended to two dimensional transmission line, and dispersion characteristics were shown. Potential applications such as antenna focused by ferrite lens, and electromagnetic wave absorber were briefly discussed.
