This paper proposed an under-voltage control technique for the linear load on the grid. The grid is interfaced with a PV array. For the conversion of DC to AC single step three-phase voltage conversion is taken into account. The main aim of control is that the PV power is always fed either in normal conditions or in the condition when there is an abnormal condition on a grid. When an abnormal condition occurs on the grid, the grid voltage is controlled and it is kept within the permitted range via reactive power insertion.
