The coupling of electromagnetic fields between cavities through one or more apertures plays an important part for the analysis of a system including many coupling paths. This paper presents the analysis and the approach developed to assess the coupling of electromagnetic (EM) fields through apertures implemented on the panels of a multi-cavity Payload in order to analyse the radiated self-compatibility within the satellite. This approach allows to assess the transmission coefficient between the adjacent cavities via a simple proportional relationship with the apertures surfaces, without the knowledge of the theoretical transfer function of each aperture, and regardless of their dimensions and shapes.
