The kinds of 5G waveforms require to saturate different demands of transmitting signals. Unfortunately, the spectrum resources are limited. Thus, the spectrum sensing technique should be overcome this issue of communications. In this paper, a spectrum sensing technique is proposed for 5G waveforms detection, such as F-OFDM, UFMC, and FBMC. The decision of detection is obtained according to some parameters such as signal length, cyclic prefix, shape, energy, and mapper. The proposed method includes windowed cosine filtering with Hamming. The results are validated with the Monte-Carlo simulation. The proposed sensing technique achieved better detection performance than that of related techniques in terms of detection probability (> 0.95), false alarm probability (< 0.05), signal-to-noise ratio (< 0 dB), and level of complexity.
