This paper is devoted to the experimental study of a plasma microwave oscillator and plasma microwave amplifier. The tunable frequency oscillator (from 7 to 28 GHz) gives power ∼50 MW. Emission spectrum is wide ∼30%. Mean frequency dependence on plasma density coincides with theory. In order to narrow the Cherenkov plasma maser emission spectrum plasma microwave amplifier was investigated. The amplified power level 4÷8 MW was achieved in two frequencies 9.1 and 12.9 GHz. The bandwidth was less than 5% in this case.
